Pressto, one more year, a benchmark in the sector in Mexico
- After 14 new openings in 2019, Pressto Mexico expects 20 more units to be opened within 2020.
- In the first two months of the year, the chain of dry cleaning and laundry has already opened 3 establishments.
Pressto dry-cleaning and laundry chain arrived in Mexico in 1997, endorsed by its success in Spain, its country of origin. Since then, year after year, thanks to the quality if its work, to its continuous innovations and to this profitable business concept, the brand has become the main reference in its sector.
During 2019, the company has opened 14 units in Mexico City, Puebla, Guanajuato, Quintana Roo, Yucatán, Coahuila and the State of Mexico. The forecast for the present year 2020 is to have 20 more openings. “Customers are increasingly demanding specialized services to keep their clothes impeccable, and Pressto is the only chain in the Republic that can offer it thanks to its extensive experience in 25 countries. Hence, we set this goal of at least 20 openings for this year”, they affirm from the Pressto Mexico Central.
By now, the franchise chain has already opened 3 establishments within these first 2 months: two in Querétaro and one in Mexico City. These centers are characterized by offering the largest number of services related to the world of cleaning, including “Pressto Bags & Shoes”, specialized in cleaning, care and restoration of footwear, bags, accessories, motorcycle helmets, etc. As a novelty, the last of the stores opened, in the Ubika el Refugio (Querétaro) shopping plaza, incorporates the “Wet Cleaning” service, an aqueous cleaning system that uses detergents and specific machinery for each type of fabric. Thanks to this system, delicate garments that used to be just dry-cleaned, can now be washed in water.
Pressto brand will be present at the next edition of the International Franchise Fair, to be held at the WTC in Mexico City from 5th to 7th March. The chain will present its latest news to the entrepreneurs who attend the event. After the success of this new business model in Spain and Mexico, Pressto + Plus is going to start being commercialized, being a modern concept of self-service and assisted laundry, with an innovative and attractive image that also uses the “Wet Cleaning” system.
Pressto currently has 110 establishments in the Mexico, being more than 400 worldwide.
